Financial Planning for Singles
Single or single again you need to know (or brush up on) how to plan for your financial future based on one salary. Speaker Kathleen M. Pesile will guide us on how to invest, buy a home, and plan for retirement. Kathleen is a financial advisor & university educator with a background in corporate finance, investment banking, & higher education. She is the founder of Pesile Financial Group and has received multiple honors including a pontifical Knighthood as a Dame of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, invested by Edward Cardinal Egan. Join us as we usher in the new SFCS season and hear Kathleen empower us in planning our financial futures.

Go Take a Hike… at Clay Pit Pond Park with your SFCS friends!
Enjoy a nature hike at this 260 plus-acre park that includes a mixture of swamps, ponds, woodlands, and streams. Come out and view the beautiful fall foliage and wildlife. We will meet at 10:45 am sharp at 83 Nielsen Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309 near Arthur Kill Rd. and Sharrotts Rd.(718) 967-1976. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. Lectio Divina - Listening to the Word of God in Scripture.
Many of us desire a deeper relationship with God, but how do we move from a mere acquaintance with Him to a true friendship? Join us as speaker, Therese M. Saulnier, guides us in Lectio Divina, Divine Reading, one of the great treasures of Christian prayer that leads us into the deeper meaning of scripture and the transformation of our lives. It involves reading, reflecting, responding, and resting in the word of God and can ultimately lead us to communion with the Divine. Therese has an MA in Theology, has been teaching contemplative prayer practices for over 19 years and offers a practical
perspective on living a contemplative life in the 21st century.

Christmas Party & First-Ever Fundraiser for Serving God’s Kids (SGK)!

Be sure to join us for what promises to be a chic and charitable way to usher in the Christmas season Cost: $45 for dinner, dance music and generous donation to SGK, which serves orphans and kids in need especially in Mexico and whose mission trips SFCS members have participated in.
