Mid-Week Bird Walks - FREE Wednesday, November 3, 10:00am-12:00pm Wolfe's Pond We will be searching for migrating waterfowl, both in the pond and on Raritan Bay. Wintering gulls should also be present. Meet in the parking lot, near the Parks Dept. field house. Director of Natural Science, Ed Johnson will lead intrepid walks rain or shine. Dress for the weather, wear rugged shoes, and pack your binoculars. While these are not hiking trips, be prepared to walk 1-2 miles on dirt trails over sometimes uneven or wet terrain. History Walk: St. George Saturday, November 6, 11:00am St. George, Staten Island $15/$10 members St. George is home to the Staten Island Ferry, the Staten Island Museum, the Lighthouse Depot, the Quarantine Station, and the St. George Theater and an array of interesting historic sites. _______________________________________________________________Curator of History, Patricia M.
