What movie was filmed at Wagner College and the Cargo Cafe?


School of Rock staring Jack Black and Joan Cusack. The prep school in the movie set in Woodbury, New York was actually filmed on Staten Island with Wagner College as the outside of the school.


The St. George theatre was used in an exterior shot and a restaurant scene with Jack Black and Joan Cusak was in the Cargo Cafe.


FYI - this was not Joan Cusack's first trip to the island.  She was in Working Girl in 1998.  She was on the ferry and on York Avenue at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church
